Mid-level Associate (Corporate) with experience in law firm, ILF or RULF Mid-Level Associate About the Firm TA Legal Consulting is a law firm specializing in corporate matters as well as in resolution of commercial disputes. We assist clients in Russia and abroad with cross-border matters under Russian and English law. Our key team members have over 10 years of experience in international law firms and have advised on the most complex transactions on the market. All our lawyers and staff speak English fluently. Job Description: You will work directly with Partners and Consultants of the Firm, assisting them with various general corporate and M&A matters governed by Russian and English law and related to Russian and various foreign jurisdictions. You will take responsibility for a particular client and/or matter and will be expected to bring it in a proactive manner to a successful outcome. You will interact with the clients and other parties' legal counsels on a daily basis both in Russian and in English. You will deal with various state and non-state authorities on client matters. You will also be expected to lead and mentor a team of paralegals and/or junior associates, effectively delegate tasks and provide feedback. Due to international focus of the Firm, English and Russian will be your equally important working languages on a daily basis, so the Firm expects that the knowledge of the English language should be upper-intermediate. Required Skills Important: fluent English, including legal terminology Education: MGIMO (МГИМО), MGU (МГУ), MGUA (МГЮА) or their equivalents with high marks Experience: 1-3 YEARS IN LAW FIRM (ILF OR RULF) Ability to deal with clients and other lawyers; Ability to work independently and in a proactive manner; Ability to effectively delegate to junior colleagues and provide good feedback; LLM or other post-graduate degree will be a plus; Advocate status will be a plus; Good knowledge of Russian civil and corporate law; Basic knowledge of English law.
